Brit McCoy | A Bridal Session at The Lageret

The Lageret Bridal Shoot

Today I am excited to share one of my favorite sessions to date!

For all of you brides out there, picking out the perfect wedding gown is the experience of a lifetime! Finding your special dress and adorning it with all of your favorite details is definitely one of the most exciting parts of the wedding planning process :)

After your wedding day passes, it is hard to place that beautiful gown back in it's bag. I was SO SAD that I could never wear the dress that I'd spent so much time and effort dreaming of again!!  So needless to say, I am all about brides putting on their wedding dresses as many times as possible after the wedding day: enter bridal portraits!!

Brit and I actually went to the same high school so naturally, I was overjoyed to see her in her wedding gown and hear all about her big day! Brit and her husband Matt were married in October of 2014 (they actually shared the same wedding day as Ryan + I) and were married in a small intimate ceremony that she managed to plan in only 3 months!!  We decided to shoot at The Lageret in Stoughton for its charming appeal and gorgeous interior structures.  Brides, this restored warehouse is PERFECT for your sophisticated, rustic wedding!! With tons of natural light and amazing exposed brick, this venue was a photographer's dream :)

Brit and Matt are entrepreneurs themselves and have recently started a holistic landscaping service! You can find out more information about their business here: http://www.homesteaddesignswi.com

These two also are the proud owners of a small farm in Southern Wisconsin where they raise beef cattle and enjoy the beautiful outdoors!

Thank you so much Brit and enjoy your beautiful portraits!
