What a joyful weekend it was!! Kelsey and Matt, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, thank you for being among the most easy-going + joyful couples that I have the honor of serving on your wedding day. Saturday’s like that make me feel so blessed to do what I do and I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to wrap up my 2018 wedding season.
Imagine this: literally the sweetest gal and the most humble, selfless guy manage to meet one another, fall in love and then throw an amazing party to celebrate with all of their family and friends. There are a lot of reasons that a photographer may decide to convert an image black and white: mixed lighting, highlighting textural backgrounds, etc. However, it is also one of my favorite tools to use to draw the viewer's attention to the emotion captured. As you meander through some of my favorite images from Anna and Paul’s day, I encourage you to stop and delight in the emotion highlighted in those classic black and whites. That is where the story comes alive :)
